About Melissa
Prior to joining Insurtech UK as our first CEO in September 2023. Melissa worked in and around the insurance sector for over 25 years, including as Executive Director at the Chartered Insurance Institute, Senior Ombudsman at the Financial Ombudsman Service, a Director at Fairer Finance, and serving on the Advisory Board of Innovate UK.
As our CEO, she leads our efforts to promote and support the UK insurtech sector both nationally and internationally and has overseen membership growth of over 40% since her appointment.
