It’s been a busy week for Insurtech UK at the Labour Party Conference in Liverpool.
Our CEO Melissa and Government Affairs Lead Victoria made the most of the opportunity to brief attending ministers and MPs on the key barriers to unlocking further growth in the UK insurtech sector, as further highlighted in our refreshed Roadmap, published today. They were also on hand to debate the full breadth of insurtech issues, from authorisations to artificial intelligence, scale up funding and much more besides.

Insurtech UK roadmap update 2025
Since we launched our Roadmap for Insurtech Growth in June 2024, we've had a new government and new industrial strategy, and it has been encouraging to see steps being taken to ensure regulators support growth and keep apace with innovation.
Our updated policy roadmap shows progress to date on our key asks to strengthen the sector, and priorities for next steps to optimise the entrepreneurial environment for insurtech founders as they start and scale to a successful enterprise.
